A Creative Kitchen
A busy family of five required a space that allowed them to be together on their main floor. We opened up the wall between the family room and kitchen space and moved the kitchen from the center of the home to the previous family room, allowing for much more room around the newly appointed island and dining table. With mom being an artist, function and beauty were the principal focus here. Details such as a hidden paper towel holder, wood toned wine rack, floating shelves, and an appliance garage were all added for functionality. Using a combination of warm whites, deep blues, and white oak, we were successful in bringing this kitchen and main floor to life for this family.
