Walk-in to this Restful Retreat
When our clients first moved into their home, they knew immediately that the floor to ceiling green marble bathroom wouldn’t last long. The plan involved removing the built-in tub, which occupied the spacious nook by the window, and expanding the shower while optimizing the space to incorporate additional storage and a laundry area. The walk-in closet initially featured a hallway connecting the bedroom to the bathroom, with separate His and Hers closets. We eliminated the walls dividing the closets and hallway, expanding the space and creating a more functional and aesthetically pleasing layout. Our clients chose a stunning white marble tile which went through the Principal bathroom and closet area, complete with heated floors. Custom cabinetry, with crown molding throughout, provided lots of storage and opportunity to plan for a make-up vanity. Mixed metals of brushed gold for the fixtures and black hardware on the cabinetry created balance and brought in a touch of modernity. The custom white oak floating shelves added warmth to the space. From green marble to white, warm and welcoming, this retreat has truly been elevated.
